2019-10-12, 11:00–11:30, S1 Disco Room
Learn how Linux workload management can be made easier with Uyuni and Salt.
Uyuni (https://www.uyuni-project.org/) is an opinionated fork of the Spacewalk project that leverages on Salt (https://github.com/saltstack/salt) to provide Open Source lifecycle management for today's datacenter. It is able to manage all your Linux workloads, bootstrap servers, manage KVM virtualization hosts, build container images and track what runs on your Kubernetes clusters.
This talk will give you an overview about Uyuni datacenter management possibilities, Salt basics, and will cover one of the most recent addons to the project: the support for managing Ubuntu clients.
