»Linux Containers - LXC/LXD«
2019-10-11, 15:30–16:00, A1 Ubuntu Auditorium

This talk will be a presentation of what is LXC/LXD, what it differs from other container technologies and uses cases. I will also talk about the latest developments and features available. This talk will serve as a good introduction to the LXD workshop that I will be running.

Linux containers are system containers, this means that you can run a full Linux distribution instead of just only a binary and application. LXD is an REST API server around LXC that does the heavy lifting of setting up storage, network and allows clustering so that you can manage all of your LXD servers with a single point of view. In this talk I will present current feature set of LXD and latest developments.
